Last day: shopping and eating our way through Bangkok

Nico woke up late, we got a nice coffee and breakfast in Pattaya and took a bus at 12:50 to Bangkok that was supposed to take us to a BTS but didn't. So we took a taxi to a mall, but they didn't want to use the meter so they completely "ripped" us (200 Baht). We really didn't buy much there, and not what we wanted (2 trousers for Alex, a dress and sunglasses for me). So we went to another mall that had nothing, and then Nico went to his hotel and we went to another mall, where we got a belt for Alex, some Korean soap and an ugly backpack. So no food, no T-shirts. At least we tried durian at luch, and was... interesting. And we went to have dinner in a japanese restaurant, where we ate like pigs. Then we got a taxi to the airport, where we had to wait ages for the check in, and once more for passport control. We arrived when they were boarding!

Our first long trip, after two years of hard working! The idea of going to Thailand was in our minds for a long time, since Max, Alex's cousin, was living there.
