Searching (without luck) the wild elephants

We got up and tried to leave at 9, although we took a bit longer (mainly because dinner affected us). We then got the car to Kao Yak national park, stopping for breakfast at Starbucks, and picked up some food. The national park huge, and we could go in the main road with Max's car. We saw some monkeys and deers, but sadly no elephants... Then we tried to go to some waterfalls, and since it was the end of summer, they were completely dried, but it was a nice walk. Then we took some funny pictures, sat in an observing point for a while and drove to a city a couple hours away. We checked in in a hotel that had mini cockroaches in the room, got some dinner and some beers (mine was called Hoegarden). We then came to the hotel, saw some videos in our room and we we got tired, we split up to sleep.

That's the closest to an elephant we saw

Our first long trip, after two years of hard working! The idea of going to Thailand was in our minds for a long time, since Max, Alex's cousin, was living there.

Entry 7 out of the 9 from this trip
